My education in learning about the rules for success

Starting with my academic education at prestigious private schools in India, leading to my graduation in 1973 from Cornell University, USA, with a Science degree in Hotel Administration, I returned to India to join the family business of hotels and restaurants. The choice of my career until that point of time was made not by me but the considerations and factors relating to the family business concerns. It had been made clear to me that family support for any alternative career choice would not be forthcoming for me.

This was a difficult learning as to how life choices are influenced by family and others around us regardless of our own desires and thinking. I worked with the family business for ten long years and helped to bring it to the heights of success. Those ten years were a very hard and difficult apprenticeship for me because I was not doing what I really wanted to do in life, and was not enjoying what I was doing.

The questioning

During this time I went through a process of searching for answers for the situation I found myself in. I had many questions regarding my own life situation and what I saw around me, and these questions included:

Why am I not able to do what I want in life? Why are people (including my family) stopping me from getting to my goals? Why do I have to work in the family business when I don't like it and don't want to work in it even though the family says, 'you are qualified for it and you owe it to the family'. Why and how do I 'owe it'? I didn't recall having taken any such debt! Am I an indentured slave?
Is there any logic, reason or rationale as to why bad things happen to good people (like me!) ? Is there any system, logic or rationale for the way things happen in life and affect us?
Is this 'karma', is it 'destiny'? DOes it mean I can't change anything in my life? What is karma and destiny?
Why do bad people prosper while the good and innocent people suffer?
Is there an intelligence behind what is happening in the world?
Is there a Supreme and benevolent God, a Creator?
If there is a Supreme Being without whose approval nothing happens, then why doesn't He interfere with all the injustice and evil that happens? Is He powerless? Does He enjoy allowing so much suffering to continue?
And....many, many other such whys.

The search for a one-window solution to life's problems

By this time I had come to the conclusion that in order to understand how things worked in the universe I needed to study from the experts. The experts I identified were the teachers of vedic philosophy in the timeless tradition of the spiritual-religious sanatana-dharma system of self-development. I also understood that I needed to go through an apprenticeship in the sanatana-dharma system, to be a game player and understand the game by playing by the rules of the apprenticeship, and not be a mere observing bystander or theorist.

I saw this as a great opportunity to progress my exploration for the one-window solution to life's problems.This was a very valuable understanding and a great lesson that has served me well in life. Finally, by the end of 1982, I decided that for my own sanity and to be fulfilled in my inner spirit I must leave the family business and do what I really need to do in life to be happy, which was to be a practitioner of the healing arts.

The wilderness years searching for the one-window solution

For the next 12 years Renoo and I along with our two very young children lived like hermits in Delhi, distanced from a family that neither understood nor supported what we were doing. We faced financial hardships and social invisibility as our previous friends and acquaintances drifted away, but our faith in our cause and search was strong and we dedicated ourselves to following our path with enthusiasm. In addition to our full-time immersion in our spiritual practices, Renoo and I worked at studying mystic yogas, and learning and practicing alternative healing methods. Renoo also dedicated her talents as a gifted artist, designer and teacher in a leading educational institution of Delhi.

In time I received my spiritual Brahmin initiation empowerment for Govinda Maharaj of the Chaitanya Saraswat Math and continued to follow the instructions and teachings of the Vedas diligently. While Renoo and I gained much in this process, we still faced a certain lack of sufficient financial success in our work. As life continued on this path, I became restless at the lack of financial and other rewards that seemed to be just around the corner but never really materializing, even though I was following everything the religious-spiritual system as prescribed the best way I could with dedication.

I then went through a process of questioning deeply whether there really was a one-window solution to all of life's problems coming from the unconditional loving grace of the Supreme Divine. Or was it just some idealistic proposition of mine, and could in fact, my family have been right in their collective wisdom that such an idea was crazy? In this dark night of the soul, the whisper of such a one-window solution possibility came to my attention.

News comes of the one-window solution to life's problems

I attended an alternative medicine conference in 1992 in Delhi, where a delegate from Switzerland spoke about a healing modality that channeled the spiritual unconditional loving energy flowing through the universe. As he continued to describe this, I listened to him transfixed, because I realized he was describing the same unconditional loving energy that I had been studying about in the Vedas.

Without using those words, he was describing the pure heart energies of the Supreme Divine Creator of all life. And he claimed that he knew of a method that could connect one to such a healing empowerment. I waited with impatient excitement for the lunch break to come, when I approached the Swiss delegate. He told me that he was leaving town and would be back in a few weeks when he would open and energize my chakras.

He left, and I never saw him again.

I tried to find other practitioners of the same healing modality but could not find them. That healing system was largely unknown in India at the time. I got over my disappointment and moved on to learning and practicing another form of energy healing that worked like surgery for removing disease products from the body.

This energy surgery healing modality worked very well where the practitioner followed a spiritual path because the energy channels were highly responsive and could carry and transfer more energy.

Re-connecting to the Divine healing heart

Soon after that, through a series of unique circumstances, Renoo and I and our two young children got an opportunity to get connected to the healing heart energies as described by the Swiss healer. It was an amazing, emotional and life-changing experience for each of us.

We went through a collective cathartic experience of shedding what seemed like lifetimes of sorrow and unhappiness. The healing energies helped us to change our life, change the results of our past.

They changed our vibratory rate and our karma.

A family effort

Renoo and the children helped me in my healing work whenever they could and my healing practice took off radically as word of the 'miracle healings' of the Nirula family spread.

Renoo's work also expanded, and the children progressed in their schoolwork and their creative instincts expanded to encompass the fields of music, theater, dance, art and photography--which we actively encouraged. These activities now form part of their purpose of life and have given them satisfying careers.

Getting connected to and working with this healing heart energy has truly been the post graduation work of our spiritual education and journey.

The connection

The healing modality that we got connected to was, of course, Reiki. I did not use that word earlier as I didn't want any ideas you might have about Reiki to interfere with your understanding of what I wanted to convey to you.

The bottom line is that the healing capabilities of Reiki are such that they can transform one's karma and destiny radically.

The other energy-surgery type of healing modality I described was pranic healing that came from the Philippines. That healing system works on the results of karma to remove the end-products of karmic consequences in the physical body just like surgery. It does not go far back enough in karmic space sufficiently to erase and cut karmic bindings, while Reiki does.

Pranic healing can work at a distance, across space, but not time, whereas Reiki works across space, as well as time. Reiki is able to go deeply into the past as well as the future, to change karmic consequences and erase binding karma.

The healing changes that take place are always referred to by people as being 'beyond all odds'. Such results are seen regularly in the lives of karmic healers.

This bridging of time and space is a quality only available in spiritual energies, and sets these apart from the material energies.

Demonstration of life changing benefits of karmic healing

We consider the event of connecting to Reiki the most externally visibly demonstrable life-changing event of our life. It was also the first experience of being able to connect directly and repeatedly with a two-way flow of unconditional universal loving energies of the heart.

Reiki further unlocked our mystic healing capabilities, and Renoo's amazing clairvoyant capabilities. It healed all the 'lacks' in our life, encouraging us forward with loving care while protecting us from all sorts of evils.

If getting to Reiki was a graduation and connection with a fiercely protective Divine Mother energy, the post-graduation discovery was of finding the most powerful Father energies of the Divine.

We experienced these in the discovery of an electric spiritual flow of what we call the Karma Quotient Force, or KQ Force that heals, rewrites and finally eliminates the balance of one’s binding karma.

The twin Divine Father and Mother energies from Their Crown chakra and Heart chakra are the most formidable awe-inspiring karmic healing energies that we have experienced or seen in the universe. With these on one's side, it is our experience and that of thousands of people we have connected to these energies, that anyone can heal everything in their lives rapidly and decisively.

Key points about karmic healing

From our personal experience, the corroboration from spiritual authorities, as well as the experience of others on this path, we understood that--

Only the superior nature of spiritual healing energies can decisively change all material conditions, because they can override consequence-generating karma.
Religious-spiritual energies help in changing our karma, but without the involvement of additional life-changing spiritual empowerments such as Reiki and the KQ Force, the change in present life circumstances is limited. The corroboration for this understanding is to be found in the books of highest knowledge--the Vedas.
Material energies like pranic healing or surgery can only deal with the results of karma partially, and while they can give great immediate relief, in doing so they generate further consequences to be experienced in future.

Applying spiritual energies like Reiki and the KQ Force to life situations gives immediate relief as well, and brings to a halt all future karmic consequences. This is because spiritual energies are not limited by time past, present or future, and neither are they limited by space.

The practical application of our findings on what drives karmic consequences, destiny and karmic healing are now here in book form as thoughts about and for meditations on the subject matter of life and living.
